His staffs are completely incompetent.I have needed a skin test. they said they contact my insurance and then contact me. Three weeks passed. Nothing. I called back the secretary,excuse; a personal issues so she forgot me. but sure,the lab will contact me quickly. 2 weeks passed. Nothing, I called back.She forgot it again. Finally, a week later they told me: my insurance doesn't want to take care of the charge (1500 dollars). The good news was : I can have a blood allegy test anyway. Anytime between Tuesdays and Fridays no needing appointment. So, I stopped the antihismatinics during 3 days: A NIGHTMARE !Then I went a Thursday to have a blood test. But, the nurse was not there.I was upset, the secretary asked me to wait a little. 15 min later : no news. I asked her what I have to do. Come back tomorrow but before they need to ask to my insurance if it would be ok. They didn't ask them before !!!!!!!! I cannot believe that this staff are so bad !Trust me : Don't go there, waste time

Dr. Stiernberg is one of few surgeons in the area experienced in the MIRP (Minimally Invasive Radioguided Parathyroid) surgery procedure. He has a pleasant disposition, is attentive, spends ample Q&A time with patient and family, consults with other specialists prior to surgery (he's thorough) and provides excellent followup care/communication. Having a long family history in the area, he also speaks perfectly comprehensible English. The incision was larger than what you see on the Norman Parathyroid Center website, but as usual, YMMV. The surgery went quite well and there are no laryngeal ill effects in this case. If you're looking for a good MIRP surgeon and can't or don't want to visit the Norman Center in Florida, I recommend Dr. Stiernberg as an alternative. More info on him at healthgrades.com
