Dr. Josovitz is a excellent doctor i have been going to him for over 10 years

I saw Josovitz in the summer of 2009 with a stomach ailment that no other doctors had been able to diagnose. Well, Josovitz couldn't diagnose it either. I waited in the exam room for over 40 minutes after a long wait in the waiting room, only to have him come in and tell me--without speaking to me, only reading off my chart--that I had irritable bowel syndrome. He then put me on two different medications that my insurance company actually denied since they were so expensive. After the insurance company spoke with his office, they settled on other medication ... but it was still extremely expensive. I was 20 at the time and I was put on medication that would have cost me $90.00 a month for a syndrome I actually did not have. After seeing another doctor (who was not a gastroenterologist, but a regular ol' family practice doctor), I was tested for and diagnosed with Celiac Disease. No $90.00/month medication needed, just no gluten. All that could have been avoided if he listened.
