Dr. Annunziata is a caring and wonderful doctor. He did a shoulder replacement surgery for me with excellent results. No more pain. I could not have had a better experience.

I've been going to Dr. Annunziata since 2008 and he is as attentive now as he was the first time I stepped into the office. Explains everything very thoroughly, let's you ask questions and doesn't rush going over the answers. I've had to make a couple emergency appointments and he has always been readily available. After doing several knee surgeries (due to the complexity of my problem), he always calls to check if everything is going well. He even provided his personal number in case anything happened after surgery and said to make sure to call him, now what doctor would do that! With a couple of more surgeries on the horizon, I would not trust any other doctor than him! I highly highly recommend him!

Chris Annunziata is the right man for the job! He is at the top of his game and always three steps ahead. He works with you without imposing any assumptions. He exhibits a truly outstanding professional demeanor and caring attitude. He was helpful and knowlegeable at all times and got me back to my life! I would recomend him to friends or anyone with a knee problem. His staff is also wonderful and always positive. I often came early to appointments and he came to see me early every time. I was amazed and I can say that although this was the worst problem I have ever had, (ACL reconstruction) it was the best doctor experience I have ever had as well. Thank you Dr. Annunziata!

Dr. Annunziata is a very thorough physician. He was on time, he listened to my questions, and he responds thoughtfully. He and his staff are responsive in fulfilling requests, such as work related forms for my employer. I sent him an email regarding some in-depth questions about my knee surgery, he called me on my cell phone after his office hours to discuss the questions I had. He also gave me his cell phone number in case I had additional questions. Not many docs do that. I went to another surgeon across the river in Silver Spring (at the urging of another doctor who I deal with in business client settings) to gain a 2nd opinion just in case. The 2nd doc's diagnosis and course of treatment was the same, so he confirmed Annunziata's opinion. His bedside manner is great. He also has been rated highly by his peers in the Washingtonian magazine (not a scientific study) but good to know other doctors recommend you. I would recommend this physician to my best friend if he needed it.

Dr. Annunziata is top-notch. He's got a very friendly, down-to-earth manner that is postive and informative. I had a rotator cuff repair from 20 years ago that "wore out" and this time also had a bicep tendon tear on top of the rotator cuff tears. Dr. A was very honest about whether he might or might not be able to repair it again - but he was able to "get the little booger" reattached and the bicep tendon repaired as well. I had a comfortable padded sling (nothing like what I had 20 years ago), a Game Ready machine that allowed me to wear a sleeve to thoroughly and easily ice my shoulder, and used a portable pain pump that delivered a local anesthetic to the surgical site for several days post-op that reduce my need for narcotic pain killers. But it really is his manner that makes him top notch!

I tore my left ACL and Dr. Annunziata did a great job with the surgery. The scarring is minimal and he is always upbeat and personable during office visits. I would highly recommend him for knee surgery. I am about to start playing soccer 10 months after surgery since I had miniscus damage as well, and I'm excited about getting on the field again!

Dr. Annunziata is the best doctor I have ever been to. He takes the time to listen and care about each and every patient. He is so thoughtful, empathetic and patient. I wish every doctor could take the time he does with his patients. So many doctors passed over my condition, but Dr. Annunziata diagnosed it right away. Finally after five years of running around to the best doctors in the DC area, Dr. Annunziata peformed my surgery and fixed me!

Our son, who is 5, fell off the monkey bars in August which took us to the emergency room - he had a grade 3 suprachondylar humerus fracture. Dr annunziata put us at ease with his confidence and reassured us that everthing was going to be okay. He was thorough in explaining the surgical procedures that our son would have to endure. He presented himself with a great bedside manner and was extremely confident and impressive. Our son was never afraid to go to the office for his weekly check-ups and X-rays. His office staff is extremely friendly, fun and knowledgeable. We were always seen within 5 minutes of our scheduled appointment. I am happy to say that our son is back to riding his favorite big wheel. Dr annunziata is a great asset for Commonwealth Orthopedics and we would surely return for any orthopedic needs in the future. I can speak with great pride in saying, "this is MY doctor"! One of the best!
