I agree with everything the previous excellent rater said, and I will add that Dr. Zarfos - and her staff - take the time and make the time to address every concern I have, and they do this one after the other, so that nothing is missed. Also, appointments are scheduled so that your mammogram is done right before you see Dr. Zarfos -- not a make or break reason to pick a physician, but given that Dr. Zarfos is such an exceptional doctor this makes it even better.

Dr. Zarfos is caring, supportive, communicative, and knowledgeable. All her staff members are great. I recommend her highly. She's the kind of person who goes the extra mile, so much so that she was once asked to stand at the president's State of the Union address for her successful efforts at promoting legislation to stop "drive-through" mastectomies. Before switching to Dr. Zarfos, I'd had a surgical breast biopsy from a popular breast surgeon in Hartford. That other surgeon was brusque and in a hurry. So glad I switched.
