The entire experience could not have been more positive, from the Northside Gastro facility to the level of care and patient focus by the medical team and Dr Born. I have been going to Dr Born for nearly twenty years for my procedures and will continue to do so for as long as they are needed. I cannot recommend him and Northside Gastro highly enough!

Dr. Born is the BEST!!
I was diagnosed with colon cancer and have been going to him for 15 years. I have a genetic condition that puts me at a much higher risk of all kinds of fun cancers; because of this, Dr. Born is very diligent with both my colonoscopies and endoscopies. He takes the time to come in talk to me before any procedure, answers any questions or concerns that I have, and explains what he will be doing. He is very compassionate, patient, and caring.
I cannot praise Dr. Born enough. I truly believe that he saved my life by detecting the cancer early enough to be treated.

I was very pleased with the treatment I received from Dr. Born. He treated me for Crohn's Disease about 10-15 years ago. I have been symptom free with no medications for the past 10 years. He always took lots of time to explain things to me thoroughly and treated me respectfully. I appreciated his humility and I sensed in him a genuine desire to help his patients rather than see as many patients per day as possible. Many times he consulted with me over the phone at no charge instead of insisting that I visit his office. I'd recommend him.

paid this amount because of deductable.Anyway,my husband went for a gastro scope a few days ago. They found he had a tumor in his esphogus, the doctor came in and explained this and said we needed an ongologist. He was so sadden by this news that I thought he was the one that had it,saying that let me explain,he called the next day and spoke to me and told me my husband had Stage 4 cancer,I was hysterical, while crying(I) he said you know, you're not the only family going through this.Really?I thought my husband was the first case of cancer in history??I know alot of people are going through this but they aren't my husband. We decided to go to University of Chicago, they took us in 3 days, after having test done we learned that it is stage 3 and operable after the chemo and radiation. We know it's not going to be easy,it's going to be quiet horrible but we also know that sounds better than the sounds we heard from Dr.Born.I truly thought my husband had just a short time, that's how DR. made feel
