Dr Rachel's assistant Kristen was Awesome.

Was not impressed with Doc. Recently moved to state & was trying to get the same meds that Ive been prescribed for over 10 years , re-prescribed by Dr V. Despite the fact that I am completely out of those meds- she would not represcribe some of my psych meds until I saw Bellin psych or retrieved my initial assessments from over 10 yrs ago, from my prior Doc who is out of business, & possibly deceased.
She was not interested in hearing what i had to say, at one point claiming I was fixating & then stating I was pressuring her.
She decided not to represcribe based on one question- & then said "Iseemed fine at appt, even tho i had been without for two weeks now- So. ? " insinuating- What?
She ended with Take it or Leave it-

I think she lacks knowledge about Mental Health matters, esp. ADHD & Depression. As such, perhaps she shouldnt be so judgemental & opinionated.

Dr. VandenLangenberg's manner was pleasant and I didn't feel rushed, however I did not feel confident in her knowledge of my conditions. In fact, she misstated one of my concerns in my health summary as leg cramping rather than aching which I specified several times while in the office. There is a difference between an ache and a cramp!

Dr. Rachael takes the time to listen to my concerns and explain things in a way I can understand. Even when I know she is busy, she never makes me feel rushed.

Dr Rachael began as a caring doctor but has clearly been sucked into the factory of Bellin medicine. It is difficult to talk or get any individual attention anymore. Messages are mixed up and you quickly become a number, not a patient.

Although Dr. Rachael is an outstanding doctor, I recently changed to a new primary care physician at a different clinic. The problem is with the entire Bellin system. I called the office and asked for a prescription for my high blood pressure medicine. The person I spoke to said that I need to come in for a doctors exam before I could get a refill. I scheduled the exam and the lab work. When I showed up at the clinic there was no appointment made by them. Also, I had a mammogram done on May 15 and I received a letter from this office on June 3 telling me I need a mammogram. I also do not like to be treated like a lab rat with all of those nursing students watching. I have no complaints about Dr. Rachael, but Bellin sucks.

Dr. Vanden Langenberg saw me for acute intestinal distress. She calmed my fears after a thorough exam , and after a CAT scan ,prescribed medication that resolved the issue and did not interfere with the many maintenance drugs I take . I was very agitated with fear before I saw her , her calm gentle manner lowered my anxiety even before the test . I do not have higher praise than this outstanding young doctor deserves. Do not hesitate for any reason to see this Doctor. Regards,Ed Flanagan
