My husband broke his wrist at work and Snelling operated. It became badly swollen and infected with staph, strep and Candida. He went back to Snelling who sliced his incision open in his office to allow the pus to escape without the benefit of anesthetics (wouldn't take because of the infection) and cleaned it out with what my husband called a "Brillo pad". Wouldn't a doctor with half a brain have given his patient antibiotics rather than reopening a fresh wound as treatment for infection? I and everyone else in the waiting room could hear my husband screaming and cursing with pain. Under no circumstances do we recommend this man as a physician.

I was referred to Dr. Snelling for a couple of mole removals. I thought he did a decent job and he seemed confident in his skills and knowledgeable in his field. He did take his time, which is actually something I appreciate in a doctor (Haste makes waste, and that's definitely not something you want from a surgeon!). I do agree about him probably being a little too old for this practice. I was surprised that he is still working, especially considering that he's in the plastic surgery field.

My husband had a broken jaw from being jumped which for some reason the ER docs asked Snelling to repair. This surgery was to take one hour and requiring only mild sedation...however this physician took 6 hours to perform the surgery and my husband came out of the OR intubated and requiring ICU treatment, broken tooth and scars all over his face...a plastic surgeon should've found ways to fix the jaw without cutting up the outside of the face right???...not this doctor ...no way. My husband required many days of hospitalization to recover from anesthesia what was supposed to be a minor to moderate surgey...he experienced hallucinations from anesthesia and narcotics for days...his jaw is crooked, lost tooth and mismatched teeth and a indent on his nose which was left behind from a tight oxygen mask. In person this man is slow as a slug in his care and nearing almost 90 years of age. Please save yourself. He did not even document in the chart appropriately. I dont have money for lawsuit.
