Dr Janet Franiek is an exceptional doctor who goes above and beyond for her patients. She is a patient listener, clear communicator and rigorous in diagnosis, and has a range of expertise including supplements. She offers support that extends outside of a traditional GP. I highly recommend her.

After complaining to my regular doctor for at least three years about exhaustion, it was put down as menopausal.
Thank God someone told me about Dr. Franiek! Most of my levels didn’t even register they were so low, and thus she started me on the road to recovery. I get teary when I try to tell her how thankful I am for her compassionate care. When you are at your lowest low due to exhaustion and someone is there to listen and understands what you are going through, it is the most comforting feeling to know recovery is possible.
I have so much faith in Dr. Franiek that now both my daughter and granddaughter have been to her with great results! She most definitely gave me my life back, and for that I am eternally grateful!

Dr. Franiek is a life saver!! She took the time to look into my health and figure everything out. I was at a loss after 5 months of feeling like I had simply lost my mind. Happy to say I am doing amazing! I owe it all to Dr. Franiek. Amazing doctor who cares so much for her patients. Highly recommended!!!

She has saved my life. Regular GP's in our medical system simply have no time to take in our complete stories and really meditate on what may be going on with our health. She wants to dig to the bottom of your problems and fix it, not just throw you a cover up remedy like regular GP's do in our flawed medical system. DO NOT hesitate to see her for anything!!!! PRAISE to Dr. Franiek!!

In 2009, after years of poor health, and multiple visits to other doctors and naturopaths, I heard about Dr.Franiek, and made an appointment with her. Her first words were "tell me your story", and I did. So began my journey on the path to recovery and return to excellent health, physically, psychologically and emotionally. Dr.Franiek listens. Her compassionate and quite brilliant approach to health care has resulted in my health being the best it has been in over 2 decades. Next year I will celebrate my 70th birthday. With Dr.Franiek's excellent care, I now have a vibrant, healthy body and mind, am filled with gratitude and so thankful she is my doctor. I cannot find the words, or for that matter all the stars that can rate how fortunate I am, and recommend her highly.

Dr. Franiek saved my life. I first saw her in 2010 when she diagnosed me with extreme adrenal fatigue/exhaustion and found out that I had virtually no hormones - female, male, adrenal. She told me at that time that the "journey back to health" would be at least 5 years and she was right. She was with me every step of the way, re-testing every year and treating accordingly. I felt supported, listened to and understood. She is incredibly knowledgable: smart, compassionate, up-to-date with knowledge in her field, warm, funny and caring. She moved in 2015 to West Vancouver and I followed her to Healix Health. She has helped me through the most difficult period of my life and I am profoundly grateful for her expert care. The bio-identical hormones she put me on helped me immediately - I started sleeping, my moods were rock solid and most importantly, I started to heal. I truly do not know where I would be without her expert guidance. She is one amazing doctor and functional medicine specialist and Vancouver is very lucky to have her practising. I've sent many others to her for help over the years. Cannot say enough good things, so glad she is on my team!

Dr. Franiek pays very close attention to me during my visits. Her questions are pertinent and thorough. She hears me and is never condescending. I am fortunate to be able to work with her

Dr. Franiek is the most amazing doctor I have ever had, she is kind and caring and has gone out of her way to be helpful. When I needed information about results she called me at home and one time when I was particularly concerned called me long distance to give me the information. She considers not only my physical needs but always asks about how things are going in my life and takes the time to listen which is quite remarkable in this day and age. I have never heard of anyone who has had the positive results that I have had from Dr. Franiek and I have been blessed to have her for many years now. Kind, caring, respectful, honest and open. Very considerate with time, realizing that everyone has a busy schedule. Can't say enough about her.

Total lack of compassion. Her office lost my test results for 6 weeks; she informed me that I had cancer and to call if I had any questions neglecting to tell me that she would be unavailable to answer questions for the following 3 weeks because she was going on holiday.Her office lost my medical files. Often waited 45-60 mins with an appointment.

Dr Franiek is a Godsend!
Even with my first call into the clinic I felt at ease speaking with Cloe who was incredibly reassuring. Kindness goes a long way when you are at a very vulnerable place in your life. I cannot emphasize the importance of this enough!
Then in my first appointment with Dr Franiek I immediately felt like I was talking with a good friend, albeit a very knowledgeable friend, who validated me and understood what I was going through. She was able to explain more to me about my hormones/health concerns in an hour than my own doctor was ever able to do. I only wish I had see Dr Franiek sooner! It would have saved me years of pain, money and multiple visits to my GP and other specialists who were unable to provide relief in the slightest.
I have seen Dr Franiek now for a few months and can say I feel a tremendous amount of relief. Plus the knowledge that she will continue to advocate for me and dig for answers as I experience new challenges with my health means so much to my sanity:)
