I had double jaw surgery, genio and bone graph with Dr. Lung. He took on my case, and I’m grateful to have gone through with this procedure as I had no choice but quicker rather than later on in the year. The chronic pain for years due to clenching in my jaw, shoulder pain, consistent headaches was due to moderate sleep apnea and my narrow airway. I never slept well. It has been years since I’ve been able to sleep thoroughly through the night. My ability to function and go to work in healthcare was hindered as so my personal relationships. 2 months post op I breathe so much easier, even my sense of smell has increased. I am not as groggy in the morning and my quality of life has improved. Thank you for taking me in as your patient, and to your lovely team. Thank you for answering the questions I ask. I have seen Dr Lung multiple times. Extremely helpful, patient, kind, informative, and above all, truly cares about the patient and their experience.

Dr. Lung was completely unprofessional based on the language he used during my consultation. My wife was with me during the appointment and the language was not something you would expect from someone in his profession. In addition, his assessment of my issue was incorrect based on two other oral surgeons that did outstanding work for me. I am happy others had good fortune with this individual but I would never go back to see him.

I would give him a six star rating out of five. After realizing that he couldn’t safely navigate my problematic airway during an office extraction Dr. Lung bent over backwards to squeeze me in for a hospital extraction within one week. He was professional and personable and my recovery was perfect. Also, my wife likes him and she doesn’t like anyone :)

Dr. Lung is truly the best highly qualified and skilled Maxillofacial surgeon.
I cannot express my gratitude and thank him enough for his exceptional clinical skills and compassion. I had excellent experience with Kingsway Oral Surgery and all their staff from day one.

I was referred by Dr. Brian Kucey as an emergency patient with severe infection due to my failing implant. Thankfully I was booked for my consult at Kingsway Oral Surgery on the same day and within an hour. Due to my complex situation, the emergency surgeon kindly asked Dr. Lung to take me as a patient. Dr. Lung was able to diagnose severe infection around one of my implants with some bone grafting and connective tissue issues, as well as severe exostosis and bone spurs in both surgical sites. He also diagnosed 2 additional implants that will need to be removed.

My surgery was scheduled in 4 days due to emergency, and Dr. Lung was able to squeeze me into his already very busy schedule. All his team members including his anesthesiologist Dr. Charlton and assisting nurses were very professional, supportive and caring.

I was truly impressed by Dr. Lung’s exceptional clinical skill. He not only treated the infection by removing the infected implant but also took additional steps for the best clinical outcome by removing extra bone left behind from the initial graft and adding connective tissue grafting due to thin mucosa around some implants. The sutures were beautifully done, and the alveolar ridges felt again like normal. Throughout all of my procedures it was evident how much passion, care and knowledge Dr. Lung puts into his work.

Dr. Lung truly cares about the best treatment outcomes for his patients. I feel so blessed to have him as my surgeon. Thank you Dr. Lung for being an amazing person and for reconstructing my mouth back to health. I am waiting to heal and I will be returning back for implant placements in the future.

I would highly recommend Dr. Lung to anyone for complex surgeries such as bone grafting and implant placement.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kevin E. Lung for many revolutions around the sun and I can confirm that he is everything one could look for in an oral surgeon. I've had many operations and he has exceeded expectations with minimal recovery times and no bruising.

One day YOU may need urgent care...
I saw Dr. Lung six years ago with a severe case of osteomyelitis in my jaw. He took me in for a thorough debridement of the site and set the course for healing with daily IV treatments and strong antibiotics. The pain I prior to that is astounding. Fast forward six years later, I've moved to Calgary, it's COVID time, and I sense a familiar pain. Excruciating pain. Where other dentists and endodontists missed the cause, Dr. Lung caught it and treated it with compassion & expertise. I drove from Calgary to Edmonton just to see him. I knew he would treat me as it was an emergency. Yes, I had to wait a few hours, as he had 5 emergencies that day. But HE SAW ME and operated that day. Why is this amazing? Because in Calgary, they all had a minimum of a 3 mth wait to see me just for a consult. My face was swelling by the hour. I would not be alive if I had to wait 3 mths. Thankful for a triage system. Thankful for people with compassion and those who had to wait. Thankful for Dr. Lung, Chris the nurse in Recovery, and all their families who put up with their loved ones staying many hours past closing. Forever thankful. I am alive.
