Receptionist made appt. for 1'oclock. I arrived @ 12:45 to find door locked w/ patients and recept. sitting inside. Patient opens door for me and receptionist tells me I would have to go back outside until 1'oclock; The temperature outside was dangerously high and why had she not told me this when I made an appointment???. I was hurt and confused being told to go back into the heat by a christian drs. office. Being a first visit they did not know if I had any health issues with the high temp. outside. WHO TREATS PEOPLE THIS WAY????. I called this morning to make sure the Dr. knew that they did this to patients and they said yes it was printed on the door; I asked why the recept did not tell me when I made the appt. WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL WITH ME SITTING IN THEIR WAITING ROOM. Normally, you get there early when you are a new patient, and I was only 15 minutes early. Why were they more comfortable with me out in the heat while they ate lunch; Why not just put a sign in the window??? wwjd
