Seriously the best pediatrician! Kind, caring, funny, so sweet with my children. He’s very supportive and always willing to see us. And always gives really helpful advice. His assistant is kind and always fits us in. The best!

While explaining some concerns about how clumsy my daughter was during childhood i was told "not to hit her" and when she started having seizures I was told she was likely faking them ...she has since been diagnosed with epilepsy and the clumsiness was due to adhd/brain development as she has miscommunication between her visual receptors.

also side note when I called in concerned about my daughters first seizure scared out of my wits the receptionist laughed at me and told me hes out of office youll have to wait

While he is very intelligent and has done this career for a long time this can be counter productive as he thinks he knows best before taking into consideration parents concerns and tends to not dig into those concerns and give a generic answer thinking every patient groups into the avg joe

I’m saying this as a patient of his, don’t go to him if you want to genuinely figure out what’s wrong. I’ve been complaining of possible asthma and stomach issues for years and he always blames it on anxiety. He also keeps trying to push me into going on antidepressants despite me refusing MULTIPLE times and has just not been helpful at all when trying to get referred to a psychiatrist. Doesn’t take me or my guardian seriously when we try to explain my problems and it’s sickening.

Dr MacDougall has been an outstanding paediatrician for both my kids for 20 years now. He’s helped us through some really tough spots. Has a great dry wit too. Highly recommended.

Dr MacDougall is a great doctor , I've brought my kids in whenever I needed he is always available, makes my anxiety at ease always answers my questions . Lisa is a wonderful assistant and he is lucky to have her , she is always running around helping others we have never had a problem with her ! My kids love both of them

This Doctor is horrible and condescending. He dont wanna listen to the parenst as we are stating what happened and what is happening to our son. He is very terrible in conversation and not sensible. Avoid this doctor at all cost of you love your kids.

Topnotch paediatrician! Very knowledgeable, always wise and very kind, amazing with kids. Both my children (4 and 2 years old) are fine going to see him, seldom cries even for vaccines or covid tests. During the whole covid time he was seeing patients face to face. His assistant Lisa is super helpful and efficient, always saves my life by giving an urgent appointment when my kids are badly sick.

I have read some comments about Doctor MacDougall’s assistant not being kind or compassionate however that is not correct at all. Yes I understand that sometimes she comes across emotionless but that is because she is so incredibly busy it is hard for people to imagine. So all the power to Lisa to be working in this field and to juggle everything for the doctor and for parents who need support. And Dr. MacDougall, well he is just one of the best humans my family and I and our daughter have ever met since the day she was born over 14 years ago. Thank you always Dr. MacDougall.

Pediatrician to all 3 of my children. He has been nothing less than fantastic. Highly recommended.
