Unprofessional is an understatement, to write in someone’s chart that they are a smoker when they have never touched a cigarette in their life and not even ask, just assume was just the start of this drs unprofessionalism. The fact he doesn’t care about the heath and well-being of his patients alone should be enough to find another dr in town.

Dr. Malish had performed my forearm a few years ago and I could not have luck to get better doctor to operate on it. It was complicated surgery due to multiple fractions and yet everything went perfect. Every year a think about him as fantastic doctor. From the very bottom of my heart BIG THANK YOU. I am not a very religious person but may God Bless You Dr. Malish. Forever grateful patient. Jaroslaw Ferenz

He was very condescending when he responded. He shouldn't be a doctor if he doesn't know how to talk to patients. It was very disappointing for me to witness this.

Disgusted by his unprofessional manner, interactions, and care. When asked about what to expect in the future in regards to recovery he responded in sarcasm and slight. At each appointment his lack of care was increasingly evident. Finally decided to be referred out. Maintain your hope and mental health, do not see this doctor.

This doctor first needs to learn how to speak professionally to his patients. Talking with patient "like dude in the street" is not acceptable. In his 5 year residency he missed a course communication etiquette.

Wrote a report to protect another doctor.
Went private for surgery because of him.

Dr. Malish is an excellent and solid surgeon that takes pride in his work. I ruptured my pec major a year ago and he reattached it to the arm. I wasn't using the arm for over 3 months and that arm is still a hair weaker than the other one because of the atrophy, but the repaired pec is actually less weakened from it than the shoulder and arm. I reflexively grabbed something that was falling three weeks after surgery and it was a very painful recovery from that point, obviously not Dr. Malish's fault. Dr. Malish was not at all sympathetic, but that's not what I'm looking for in a good surgeon. He did his job well, the repair held and my future plans are once again possible. If I ever have to be repaired again, I would feel extremely fortunate to have Dr. Malish performing the surgery.

Dr. Malsh repaired my shoulder (labrum tear that resulted in frequent dislocations prior to surgery) 6 years ago. He was professional, honest, blunt (in a good way) and helpful. At the time, I felt I was almost too old for surgery (I was 28 then). Looking back, I am so grateful that Malish convinced me to go ahead with the work. My quality of life is greatly enhanced and the shoulder has held up flawlessly since the surgery. It was a daunting event for me to go through with but thankfully there are great doctors like Dr. Malish to help repair our joints. Thank you, Dean!
