I had fallen on ice, went to my family doctor who did xrays on my hand. My doctor sent me to Kalo clinic to get my hand looked at again by this Dr. I broke it and this doctor comes in, says I have a boxers fracture, hands me a splint with instructions and goes on to saying its adjustable and to redo xrays in 2 wks. He didnt even help put it on. So 1.5 wks goes by, my hand is burning, popping etc. popping Tylenol every 4 hrs, finally go to pan am clinic. Told them what this Dr did and didnt do. They said he should have popped the bone in place then splint it. Well he didn’t and now I am seeing a plastic surgeon for a surgical fixation. This Dr needs to retire. He showed no compassion at all🤬 Will never go back

Dr Kalturnyk was caring and treated me with dignity and respect. He truly cared about my wellbeing. Closed my laceration quickly without an appointment. Ordered x rays and gave me the highest level care I have seen from a Dr in a very long time. I would recommend him to anyone in need!

Don’t bother. The booking system and the receptionist are both great, but he completely blew off a visible eye infection and earlobe cellulitis along with other stated symptoms. After pressing him he agreed to prescribe antivirals which seemed odd. A follow-up with a competent physician on Pembina confirmed it was bacterial, not viral, and I was prescribed the proper medication elsewhere. Might honestly submit a complaint to the College of Physicians because I have never been so rudely condescended to by a man who misdiagnosed something that should have been easy to get right.

Awful person to be around and very rude. Did not care to be there nor listen. He said 'nothing was wrong' and sent me home even though my elbow was still hurting. I went to another clinic, was diagnosed and sent to rehabilitation to help with my extensor tendon. Dr. Kalturnyk is an awful doctor and person.

Blake Kalturnyk is an awful doctor who just tried to rush to a conclusion n send you away ASAP. He's no good. Only cares about asking are you vaccinated. Even though I went to check my bronchitis. Told me to rest n my lungs r clear. But bronchitis is not in the lungs as anyone who knows some basics of medicine. U don't need to pay some sham doctor to tell you your lungs r clear, because my lungs r clear, I had bronchitis!!

This doctor appears arrogant from when he first walks in the room, first thing out if his mouth is "are you vaccinated?"..when I responded what on earth does that have to do with my visit today? and it's personal information that I don't find at all relevant to my visit, his response was " This is medicine, NOTHINGS personal..so then I take it you're not then"
This type of arrogance and assumptions solely because someone refused to provide this information ( which ever has the legal right to do ) is astounding and disconcerting.
I replied to him, "You can take it that it's none of your business"..where his attitude changed to being even more arrogant and like I was wasting his time.
This doctor has to keep his personal agenda out of his work regardless what he or his patients believe.
