Dr.Sinclair is an excellent surgeon and he can take a joke. What more can we ask? Jessica Lucky, his associate, is whip-smart and compassionate. They saved my life.

I was sent to Dr. Sinclair because of my complex tumour and was told he was the guy to get the job done- he was simply the best! Not only was he an exceptional surgeon, but I was truly blown away by his incredible bedside manner. I will forever count my lucky stars that I was able to have him as my surgeon.

To give Dr. Sinclair anything but a five-star rating would be a disservice. He treated my husband's brain cancer for several years. My husband exceeded the average survival rate for Glioblastoma Multiforme by several years. I credited the care and skill provided by Dr. Sinclair. This is a talented doctor well beyond average. He even took the time to write a kind email after my husband passed away. We are very fortunate to have someone like Dr. Sinclair working at the Ottawa Hospital. Forever grateful.

He may be good at straight forward stuff like surgery for brain tumors or cancer ; but , when it comes to more complicated stuff ??? My wife has trigeminal neuropathy ,[ his diagnosis] and he told her to go to a pain clinic ,[where she would probably end up addicted to strong drugs , even he agreed with this], all this after waving his finger in front of her eyes and having her walk up and down heel to toe in front of him . He then sent her home with no suggestion of what would help or if he could do anything. My wife suffers 24/7 from pain from 3 to 10 on a pain scale , usually around 7 to 10.She picked him to see because of his ratings ,[usually with surgery] .I would not him very high.

Dr Sinclair and his staff were excellent! While having a craniotomy (wake) we talked about music, craft beer and other comforting subjects. He and his staff convinced me that having awake surgery would provide better results when I was nervous about being awake with my brain exposed. Great professionalism and communication.
