They treat medical assistance pts like crap. Don't recognize you when you arrive, rather play on their phones. Forget about getting your rx. They can't be bothered to even pass your message along to the doctor. Discrimination.

I wouldn’t recommend this place if you paid me. I just came back from the West Mifflin location. I had called last week to see if they took emergency walk ins to if I could make an emergency spot as I was just diagnosed with a dental abscess the night before and was given an antibiotic. The rep Brittney told me that they did accept walk ins on Tuesday at that loc and to come in At 8 as its first come, first served. So I took time off work, drove there only to be met by the most rude and unprofessional people I’ve ever met at a business. When I had to approach them because no one greeted me or offered to help, I asked if I could check in. They asked if I had an appt. I told them I had spoken to Brittney who told me to walk on on Tuesday. They both immediately snapped and said they don’t take walk ins and brittney had no business telling me that as she works in oral surgery??? Ok, how am I supposed to know that. Then they continued doing what they were doing and didn’t acknowledge me at all. When I asked them what my options were, they said I could try to find another dentist. I then asked if I could make an appt and told them who my ins carrier was. The one receptionist snapped back and said the dentist no longer took that ins. And that was it. No apologies no empathy, no kindness. I’d love to know who hires these people. I will never use Katsura dental again. So disappointing.

This is the nastiest dental office I have ever had to go to in my entire life. The dental assistant dropped a glove on the floor picked it up put it on and went back to work. I have never seen anyone wash their hands as they go from room to room and mouth to mouth and they do not care about the pain they create or the shoty work they do I had a tooth pulled and for 2 weeks I was pulling pieces of broken tooth out about the size of grains of rice and when I reported it to then it just went in one ear and out the other. the dentist who does the teeth cleaning I good but the rest of the staff sucks. If you ever need teeth pulled refuse to let Dr Derick Kelly do the work you will be I extream pain and he will leave several pieces of broken tooth in.
