An absolute arrogant self centered piece of garbage that should not be allowed to practice.

Never again. To say I am not impressed would be an understatement. I was referred by a doctor I deeply respected, as I never would have driven to the southside since I live right near the med center. I wish I'd taken the time to read reviews before going to see him. His waiting room is papered with signs that tell you how much money certain things will cost, and is always crowded (read that as "way overbooked"). The first time I saw him, it took THREE HOURS before I was finally out. During the first visit, I asked him if he wanted copies of my neck MRI and xrays, and he didn't even want to look at them. However, he insisted on another EMG, even though I'd had one only three months before. He told me he didn't trust the first one, even though it was done at a prominent neurosurgery practice. I show up for the EMG, and was told it would cost me $424. They never warned me about that! To add insult to injury, the preliminary results were =exactly= the same as the first one! There was a lady in the waiting room coughing and sneezing, and the staff said nothing about it, even though the signs say that if you are coughing or sneezing to please reschedule. They have a bathroom, but have made it available to staff only, and make people go to the lobby to use the bathroom out there. Also on my first visit, I asked for hand sanitizer after I'd filled out 10 pages of paperwork, and the receptionist acted like I'd asked her for her wallet. She gave me a microscopic amount of the sanitizer hidden behind the window for staff use. I wouldn't have even gone for a second visit had it not been for the confidence in this doctor expressed by my wonderful neurosurgeon Dr. Scott Phillips, but I sincerely doubt Dr. Phillips realizes how unprofessional this practice is.

I went to get results of my EEG and was supposed to have an explanation because a nurse called me at 5:30 pm on 10 Feb to tell me that I was having mini seizures and I needed furthe testing. The Dr. Could not see me after I arrived at my appointment because my insurance would not authorize a visit; yet they did not figure this out before hand and call me to cancel. The office manager/patient advocate never met my request to explain how all this could occur. They did not give me a copy of my own record based on HIPPA and the privacy act, instead, they said it was faxed to my PCM which is not an instant process as they believe. I am very angry and have a medical result based on their test that was not explained....

Dr is more concerned about his appearance than listening to his patients. Office never return calls. Doesn't listen to his patients. Too busy looking at his own reflection on his laptop. I had to repeat myself several times because the idiot was not paying attention. I will not return. Office does not handle paperwork in timely manner then has audacity to lie about it.would not recommend to anyone with serious health issues

What a unprofessional cold insensitive and arrogant man I wish I had never set foot in his office no compassion and has no idea how to talk to people I can't believe he is even able to practice I will never forget this unfortunate meeting and I only hope he never treats another patient as he did my mother and I. My mother has Alzheimer's and he told me she was dead and no longer my mother I can't say how he treats his own family but I can assure you I would never just put my mother somewhere to be forgotten because of her illness! I feel sorry for him and his family! If possible avoid this Dr he preaches what he feels is his truth I just wanted to know about the medication my mother had be taking which he says doesn't do a thing and prescribes because " there isn't anything else" how sad

I accompanied a family member who suffered from a concussion. The office area was not particularly clean and was disorganized with files stacked on the floor and things piled into corners. The receptionist responded to patients in an abrupt and impatient way, even raising her voice at an elderly patient. We were kept waiting for over 45 minutes. When we did see the doctor he performed some tests, told us there was a 100% chance of 100% recovery and proceeded to make some awkward attempts at humor. This was not appropriate at all because the patient was still suffering from very debilitating symptoms. Our shock came when we saw his report in which he basically accused my family member of malingering & exaggerating symptoms. Much more thorough tests by a neuro-psych several months later completely refuted Brahin's assessment. The symptoms were REAL and TYPICAL for a concussion. The misdiagnosis delayed appropriate treatment & caused a lot of unnecessary suffering and frustration.

Dr Brahin is a wonderful doctor. I have recently started seeing him and instead of prescribing medication and sending me off on my way to suffer with my problems. He tried other alternatives and discovered other issues that were causing my headaches. I have been diagnosed with Pseudotumor Cerebri with Papilledema. This was discovered after numerous doctor visits and headache complaints. I am so happy that I was referred to Dr Brahin and will recommend others to see him. I just had an MRI and am now waiting for the results to make sure I dont have any other tumor issues causing the swelling of my optic nerves. He is a young doctor with a very youthful brain and youthful energy. He is amazing!! I wish him much success over the years to come!

I wasn't happy with him. I prefer Dr. Tarbox, but he left the practice and doesn't accept my insurance.

I am a new patient of Dr Brahin's and was very happy with my visit. I was referred to his group to be treated for severe migraines that have been a problem on and off for years. I got an appointment within days and was thrilled that I didn't have to wait for weeks to see him. Dr. Brahin was kind and really listened to my history. He gave me a lot of information and made me feel like I was finally in the right hands. With his help and prescription my headaches are lessening already. Dr. Brahin took the time to follow up with me personally which is not always the case with other doctors that I have used. I got my appointment with him right away because he has just started however I am worried that once word gets out about him he will book up fast!I give him my highest recommendation and I would urge anyone suffering from painful mirgaines to seek out his care.Thank you Dr. Brahin
