This dermatologist is kind, knowledgeable, and her office is efficient. Highly recommend.

I visited Maryam for acne and was told it would be completely healed and clear in 4 months. I was given a treatment I was skeptical about because she dismissed my concerns of my sensitive skin. I had a terrible reaction that burned the first few layers of skin on my face. I was in for a visit every month and progressively got worse. 5 months later, I had acne more severe than when I first saw Dr. Shahsavari. The lack of affective treatment and willingness to help has damaged and scarred my face. Dermatologists in the Desert do not care for patients with acne. I do not recommend Maryam

It is very refreshing to find a good doctor. Dr. Shahsavari was on time, efficient and very nice. She is not much on formality, but that can be a good thing. She got right down to the examination and treatments, which is all I go to a doctor for anyway. She explained what she was doing and why, which made me comfortable. The office staff is efficient and helpful. I rate this an excellent experience and recommend Dr. Shahsavari to anyone looking for a dermatologist in the Palm Desert area.

I could not ask for a better doctor. We are trying to solve a dermatological problem on my hands at my finger tips. I have seen her twice to date and she is doing everything you would want a doctor to do when trying to figure out what the ailment is. I will continue to see her until we figure out what is going on with my hands. I have complete faith in her. By the way, the staff is excellent and very courteous. They are sensitive to the fact that you may be a little nervous and they treat you gently. All in all this is the best experience I have ever had with any physician I have ever seen.

I was extremely nervous about something that should not have been on my face. Within 3 minutes of meeting Dr. Shahsavari I was relaxed. I was facing an little surgery and then labs. Dr. Shahsavari got me thru it and the problem is gone. There was but a minor-minor sting when she localized area, I can not even see the scar, nothing, absolutely unblemished where she did the surgery. She is so happy and her bedside manner is unforgettable.

Dr. Maryam Shahsavari was courtesy and willing to listen to my complaint. She was also able to make me feel better by just being around her. I took my medications and had a complete recovery. Thanks Dr. Shahsavari !

Dr. Shahsavari is good, but she's not punctual. I had the first visit of the day at 9:30am. I got there at 9:20am and her staff put me in a room. They didn't even tell me she hadn't arrived. I walked out of the exam room at 9:50am and asked how much linger it would be. They said Dr. Shahsavari hadn't arrived yet. They didn't even have the courtesy to tell me that before placing me in an exam room to wait. I'm never going back. I don't care how good Dr. Shahsavari is. There are other Dermatologists that will treat me better.
