When Dr. Atkins joined the health center in Glens Falls, NY, I think I was his first patient on his first day. I told him I would be a difficult patient because I am not textbook anything. I didn't dissapoint, and he never let me down either. He did the one thing that is the mist important to a patient; he listened. What's more, he genuinely cared. He also allowed me to be a part of my treatment and did NOT act like he knew all the answers. We worked together. Dr. Atkins, I hope you think of me whenever you see that little rubber ducky on your desk. Your replacement is fine, but he is certainly no Graham T. Atkins. You are greatly missed! I hope you found your passion. OH, hey, I'm a Mom now. How cool is that??? All my best!
