Biography

Angela Shepard is a NH native who graduated from Plymouth State College with a degree in Psychology before attending medical school at University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her intern year in Emergency Medicine at Christiana Care Health System and then completed a Preventive Medicine Residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Angela also has a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts. Her professional experience includes School Health Services Consultant for the NH Department of Education, State Trauma System Coordinator for the NH Department of Safety, and most recently work as a private medical consultant and health advocate. Here at True Health NH, Angela works primarily with chronic illness and refractory symptoms. She believes that we must improve patients' quality of life while working to address the underlying issues. In her spare time, she enjoys her work with the Concord Homeless Resource Center and community activism related to social justice issues. She loves spending time with her family and dogs in her small country home.
