The office is operated like a large factory business. An initial insincere touchy feely exam with recommendations for surgery followed by a cursory follow up after which you never see Dr Keller again, just factory staff.

Spends considerable time with patients to review procedures, discuss treatment and answer questions. Friendly - makes you feel comfortable and listened to. Far more than most doctors. Very knowledgeable in his field. Believes in immediate/continuing physical therapy - far more than average. Focus is on sports medicine. Only critical fault is that he doesn't allow adequate time for follow ups with his patients. Patients are commonly shunted/pushed into follow up visits with other physicians instead. This destroys continuity and creates a lot of uncertainty and insecurity and doesn't allow for a good ongoing doctor/patient relationship. If very assertive you can avoid some of the physician roulette but even then not entirely. The assisting physicians themselves are friendly/competent but transient - flying in from Anchorage to routinely handle much of the load. Unfortunately, if you want to have a regular one on one doctor patient relationship you should probably look elsewhere.
