I would definetly not recommend this doctor. When I delivered my daughter I was treated in an extremely disrespectful way by Dr. Gloria Jean Bowles-Johnson. She had just started her shift and she tried to scare me. She insisted that we started augmentation even though everything was OK. She did not care about our birth plan and did not agree with what we had decided with the previous doctor. She did not listen, and became extremely aggressive and rude.
I was lucky because I was very well prepared for my birth and my husband and my doula were there with me in order to support. However, things like that should never happen. Doctors are supposed to be compassionate and work in the best interest of their patients and clients. Women in labor are in a very vulnerable position and they should feel safe and respected by their care providers. This did not happen with Dr. Gloria Jean Bowles-Johnson.
