Dr. Simon is kind of cold and gets impatient easily. She made me feel very uncomfortable because she could be icy. She might be disciplined enough to obtain her PhD, but I don't think she makes a good therapist because she does not have the body language or comforting demeanor that would make people feel at ease when they are at their most vulnerable. I would never recommend her to someone in need of comfort or reassurance. Dr. Simon is not kind, patient, or warm enough to be an effective therapist. Having a PhD proves her ability to test and theorize well, but the PhD does not take the place of what the best therapists possess - kindness and patience. Dr. Simon is too cold to be a therapist.
