There has never been a visit to Dr. Faiola where I did not feel like I had his undivided attention. He takes time with patients, answers questions and follows up. Great patient care.

Worst Doctor I've ever been too. Terrible bedside manner, didn't answer any of my questions and made me feel worse than before I saw him.

have been a pt for 10 years. love Dr faiola. Dr Strafford is completely horrible. Zero bedside manner overbearing and rude. I only see her if there is now way to see any of the other providers and I have an immediate need. Trust all my care to the other providers. Woould highly recommend Dr Faiola.

I started going to HFM several years ago but was for another doctor of whom since started practice in another state. Dr. Faiola then took over my care. At first I was hesitant because I don’t like male doctors but I gave him a chance.. Yes, he sometimes has a sense of humor, Yes, sometimes he can make you laugh, But, If I have more than 2 complaints which usually are tied in together, he stops listening.

When I first started with him, he read my records and we discussed the issues. But it changed quickly..More often than not, Ive left with only half of my issues settled.

The first issue was that I am overweight and in 2012 he convinced me to take these pills that would help speed up my metabolism. I thought I was dying. I felt my brain melting inside, my legs would no longer go up the stairs, and I was in so much pain. After going off of them myself and doing research, I found out these pills together is just another form of Phi-Phin. I was angry.. When I went in to talk to him about this, he chuckled and acted as though he didn’t really believe me.

At my yearly check up in summer 2014, He asked if anyone had ever talked to my about GastricByPass. I was like, No, Why? All the lab tests were coming in while he was explaining the surgery. I told him that I don’t sit in from of the TV eating, I don’t eat a lot of fast food, I worked out no less than 3 times a week and practically walked everywhere. But I felt he was not listening. I gained 50 pounds because of some meds I’m on and he knows this. These tests that came in said I had Blood in my stool and Diabetic. So he schedules an apt for colonoscopy and tells me to do the Gastric but NEVER even TRIED to explain the Diabetes, just put me on Metformin which he wrote a scripts for the ER but when the pharmacy or I called him to confirm Metformin ER 24 hours tabs twice daily was correct, he called in a script for the other Metformin.. Not only did I pay for the First script, I now had to pay for the second one. He told me about the side effects of Metformin (I already have IBS) but it was bad.. I ran out of meds and money but still had the Metformin ER, so I started taking it. I fell SOOOOO MUCH BETTERRRRR.. The side effect is at least 75% better.

Months later, I decided to take matters in my own hands and call for a meter and supplies. I showed the pharmacy my meter to make sure the supplies were correct. (they asked) Two days later I went to pick up the supplies and they gave me the wrong stripes. They (pharmacy) said Dr. Faiola wrote for that script and that’s what they filled.. (2nd script in 2 months he wrote wrong)

Point is, Although he may be a nice guy, run a smooth practice, nice office, (staff isn’t always pleasant), I have to constantly repeat myself to him, he never remembers even 4 weeks later what he saw me for, he only listens to half, HAS AN ISSUE WITH OVERWEIGHT PEOPLE (he’s a big man himself—go figure), medications are getting messed up.. YES, I understand he has a butt load of clients/patients, but he is also 64. I think it’s time for him to retire and enjoy those grand babies of his..

My husband saw a Dr. Stafford in this office. He was having such intense pain he could barely stand. IN HIS CHEST! I called, was told to come in that he would be "fit it." She saw him, evaluated he needed a chest X-ray and a CT scan "stat" but then couldn't read the Xray. Said, Let me ask Dr. Faiola if he "see's anything," She sent him home with pain meds, said if it get's worse go to the emergency room. I called in a favor from a nurse in cardiology at Capital Med. Ctr. He was seen within the hour. He took off his shirt for an EKG, the nurse said, "AHA", you have Shingles. His heart was fine. The Cardiologist looked over the EKG and confirmed he had Shingle sent him home. NO Ct scan WAS ever needed. This will pass. Dr. Stafford meanwhile was contacted for "Dr.Smith's" findings. Two weeks latter he needed pain med's, she denied him! Then left the country to go to Sweden until March. Leaving him with no followup care. This place is a joke. See them at your own peril.

presented with an infected finger with severe pain; told to soak it and not to worry. Three hours later the pain was too much and went to ER. ER informed me the infection was so bad I could have lost my finger. Lucky for me I didn't listen to this "doc". Instead of rushing me along he could drained the finger, prescribed antibiotics, and in conjunction with the soaking and all would have been fine.
