Easy to talk to, Professional casual, works to put things in perspective, and also gave me room to think things through. Skilled and natural kind of attitude, very knowledgeable, believes in what he’s doing. Easy to recommend Dr. Sapen

If you are looking for an agile therapist who brings fresh perspective into your life, you have found it in Dan. Dan is both compassionate and knowledgeable. He brings a lot of wisdom and depth of understanding into each session. I've been to many therapists, he is a rare find!

I have worked with Dan for many years as a survivor of trauma and neglect. I have found him to be both sensitive and knowledgeable- a therapist who can work with whatever comes up. He seems well-versed in several methods of therapy, blending them seamlessly , switching from analyst to friend to confidant as the moment requires. I have made a lot of progress and continue to grow; my relationship with a good therapist has facilitated that. I would recommend him highly.

I wanted to find a way to thank Dr. Dan Sapen for giving my husband an myself a new perspective on our marriage, and showing us how to fall in love again. He was so relaxed and so focused at the same time, and made us feel like our happiness was the only thing that mattered. He obviously has a very deep kind of knowledge, but he never makes you feel like you are being analyzed, or that your fit into any kind of theory. However, when I found this site, I saw that someone seemingly very angry had written such terrible things about Dr. Dan - my husband and I read it and first we laughed, but then felt terrible that someone must carry such hostility to try to destroy the reputation of someone who gives so much to people. I hope that person gets help, and stops trying to hurt others. All we can both say, after putting our relationship and our future in his hands, was that our experience was the complete opposite of what this person wrote. I mean, how could a therapist be so evil as this person tries to make him seem, unless he or she just wants to find people to blame for their problems. It is unfair. We trusted him with our lives, and we are thankful.
