I moved to Mayaguez and had to change my long time dentist. After looking online I found Dr. Edwin Rodriguez who shares practice with his wife Dra. Patricia Lugo at Instituto de Sonrisas del Oeste. I had my previous dental appointment for checkup with my previous dentist less 6 months ago and came out ok with no cavities. I haven't had a Cavity since my baby teeth. Dr. Rodriguez diagnosed me with a whooping 12 teeth with cavities. I questioned his diagnostic and went to another dentist for a second opinion, he said I had no cavities. IMO This doctor just wants to make money by misdiagnosing. It is a poor ethical practice in dentistry, but lamentably very common in Puerto Rico.
