I felt she was unconcerned with my issues. I had to push her and make suggestions in order for her to provide any help. She ignored two requests from my pharmacy to provide a new prescription and now I have only one day left of a med I cannot go off of quickly. She did not submit a referral to a specialist as promised for my son requiring and when the referral agency contacted her, her response was completely opposite from what we had discussed. I had to call the office manager to get it worked out. I have worked in the medical profession for over 20 years and understand the issues the office faces, but these problems are inexcusable. The office staff is fantastic and on top of things. My previous provider in the same office was wonderful. I generally prefer women physicians but I would not recommend Dr. Delaplante to anyone.

I have for the most part been very happy with Mountain Star however the greatest disappointment came with Nichole Delaplante. After a few visits I realized she viewed me (and probably other patients) as "peasants" that she was above. She was condescending,judgmental and out right rude. She touts her education yet it seems she has little to no people skills which may come from more experience. The air was heavy at her clinic and you could tell the staff was under pressure. One visit should have been a red flag but after three visits I've decided to find another doctor. I would not recommend Nichole Delaplante to anyone except as an ER nurse where being curt and hurried is more acceptable. I'm surprised Mountain Star keeps her under their name. They should really send a "secret shopper patient" to see how she treats people. For now, I'm going to another care provider, anything has got to be better than the Delaplante treatment.

She is really only willing to work with the "right kind of patient", and if you do anything that she does not like, she will talk about you to her staff and they will treat you like crap! They will go out of their way to make sure you know that you are not liked or welcome at that clinic. Dr. Delaplante will only spend time with those patients that she likes and cares about and she will make comments to those that she does not like about how often they should come see her. If you are sick and make an appt. to be checked, and you are one of the patients she does not like, her nurse will call you back shortly and say "Dr. Delaplante wants you to try "this" instead of coming in." It is truly all about making money from those she likes, and keeping those she hates away from her office and if they do get an appointment they will be treated like crap. I suggest going somewhere else to get help.

She is PERFECT and her patients better be too!!! If you are looking for someone who is compassionate, caring and understanding you will NOT want to go to Dr. Delaplante! You will always walk on egg shells and crack them with every step you take at her office, you will feel stupid with the questions you ask and the responses she gives you, if you do go to her DO NOT TRUST her as far as you can throw her!!

She is a good person, good doctor, very knowledgeable...will just straight up say what she wants....can come across as being mean/mad. But if you are looking for someone who can help you with weight issues, without doing surgery...she is basically the only one in Utah! She is willing to work out personality issues...if there are any.

I have searched all over for a good doctor and have to five+ doctors just in the past year and a half. I know that I am really hard to please sometimes but this doctor was incredible and worked with me through all of my concerns and even more. I know she ended up spending more time than she really had with me but I really appreciated how well she explained everything and went over all of my issues. I will never go anywhere else and I recommend her to everyone that I know even if they have their own doctor. She was wonderful all around and her staff was an absolute joy to work with the whole time I was there and even when I had to call back they were very accommodating to all of my needs.

She was fine with me, has major knowledge about weight and is helping me to lose weight and get healthy. She is VERY BLUNT, but sometimes you need to hear the truth in order to change your ways!

The staff was fine but I had a rare condition & Dr Delaplante knew nothing about it or the treatment. She was constantly prescribing me meds I couldn't take while nursing my baby just telling me to "pump and dump". If you are a mother who breastfeeds you KNOW how offensive this suggestion is ESPECIALLY when there ARE other meds available that ARE safe for nursing mothers to take. When I finally pushed for one of those meds for my treatment she argued with me out right and made me feel like a drug seeker when I'd been seeing her for 2+ yrs &had never asked for anything before. When I brought that up she said "Well, I never SAID I wasn't going to give you the prescription..." Are you kidding me? You just argued with me for 15 mins making me cry & feel guilty for seeking treatment & now you say THAT? I'm never going to her again. She is unwilling to work with patients for care that works for THEM & their needs, only wants to follow the strictest doctor guidelines given in some pamphlet.
