Dr. Simoncini became my primary care doctor after having dealt with another doctor for years who misdiagnosed me and ignored my concerns. On our very first visit she asked why I wanted to change to doctors and I explained my situation to her. She was very friendly, understanding and observant of my needs. She assisted me with lowering my A1C through her prescribed treatment and she has offered me the support that I was missing.

She walls in the room with a attitude, then seems disinterested in why your there or what you have to say unless your a patient that has no health problems. She rushes through your visit and you leave with many unanswered questions. She has a lot to learn about chair side manners and patient ethics. She made me feel like I was a bother to her, so I left with unresolved issues. She needs to learn to Listen to what patients know about their body. Just because you graduate from medical school does not mean that is all there is to learn. The real learning comes from your patients. So the attitude should not be that once you graduate that's all there is to learn or know. Many patients are not uneducated about themselves. Medicine and the medical profession is a constant learning experience. Once you understand that you can open yourself up to what your patient is feeling and verbally trying to express. Listening is the key not just hearing.
