My husband went to him and was very happy. The staff is great, very helpful with appointments and insurance (which is a nightmare). Very busy office, but appointments are pretty much on time, so no complaints there. Dr. Haig was excellent. He explained everything so my husband felt very comfortable. Highly recommend!

I have had shoulder problems and surgery. Frozen shoulder is a difficult condition to diagnose and treat. Everyone in the office is kind and helpful. Dr. Haig is extremely knowledgeable and skillful. He has also treated my entire family. He is really the best!

Dr. haig is an excellent surgeon. I had rotator cuff surgery in 2013. It does take time to heal but his professional guidance throughout my physical therapy was excellent. Not only am I playing tennis again but my game is better than ever. Thank you Dr Haig!

No matter what time your appointment is you wait over an hour to see the doctor. If you call the office 10 minutes before they close they put you on hold then hang up on you.

I sustained a horrible accident which I presumed to be directly associated with my shoulder. After seeing Dr. Scott Haig, upon examination, he immediately advised an MRI for the cervical/neck. Confused I again replied,” the pain was in my arm/elbow/chest- not my neck.” Dr. Haig took the time to explain in detail the reasoning behind his opinion. I was directed to a staff member who immediately obtained my authorization, made my appointment, and sent me with directions to Gotham on Central Avenue located in Yonkers, NY. The very next day the staff contacted me as they received my results. Upon reviewing the results with Dr. Haig later that day in his office, along with the results from the radiologist, it was confirmed that Dr. Haig’s professional opinion was accurate. I had suffered a herniated disk and a bulge in my neck-causing severe pain. Not only did he review the results but he went above and beyond to go over exercises with me for the pain.

Dr. haig used to be a decent doctor but lately I find him distanced and very rushed and uncaring. I would swear him quite possibly has a drug dependency based on his bizarre change of personality. is staff is also nasty and condescending!

An incredibly patient, compassionate and knowledgeable person. Without hesitation, I refered my grandmother to him and her shoulder surgery was a smashing success. He is as close as you can get to a great doctor. If you need a surgeon, go to him.
