I've been a patient of Dr. Karlsberg for 27 years which is a long time considering that I had a heart attack at age 40. I truly believe that between Dr. Karlsberg, Dr. Gang, and Cedar Sinai I have gotten the best cardiac care in the world. Aside from delivering state of the art cardiac care, I feel that Dr. Karlsberg really cares about me. It helps me sleep at night knowing that I can reach him almost any time. CVMG is an extremely well run medical practice. The staff is kind, efficient, professional, and organized. Furthermore sophisticated cardiac medical equipment is available at the office including CT scans and echo cardiograms which saves so much time and speeds up results. For those need cardiac care this is as good as it gets.

I arrived at the office on Friday, Jan 4, 2019 about 9:30am. Dr Karlsberg and I were the last to leave at about 5:30pm. I live out of the country and my appointment for a routine screening was set up at short notice through a dear friend of mine, and also a patient of Dr. Karlsberg. I figured the tests would confirm that I had the heart of a 25 year old and that I could head back without a care.
The early tests raised some questions, and so some others were added on the fly. I went from the 11th floor to the 6th, to the 10th, back to the 6th...always escorted by one of the staff. It's a small thing, and I could easily have managed, but it made me feel looked after in a way that was comforting. A feeling that was replicated in all my dealings with the staff. They are terrific, top to bottom.
When the last results were in and I was sitting with Dr Karlsberg in front of a computer screen looking at a 3-D model of my heart late that afternoon it was clear that all was not as I had thought. He wanted me to come back on Monday for some kind of fluid dynamic test.
It ended up that I needed a stent, which I got the next day.
I spent a good deal of time off and those days in Dr Karlsberg's office. He was smart,thorough, funny, and caring in the way you wish all doctors shared. There was also a generosity shown here that you could never expect to find. Dr Karlsberg knew I wouldn't have access to the care I might need in Kenya, so he made sure I got it here. I'm thrilled that I was recommended by my interest to Dr. Ronald Karlsberg...He has so much knowledge about the heart and is so thorough with his examination...I felt like I knew Dr. K for years...He is personable, certainly knows what he's talking about and you leave his office getting the answers you came for and understanding what he is saying... As far as I'm concerned he is rated an "11" plus...I just met him and he makes you feel that all your cares are taken care of. I am blessed that he is now my cardiologist...

Dr. Karlsberg has been my Cardiologist since 1995. MY heart history and that of my family is peppered with illness and death. Dr. K has kept me alive with care, advice and "partnership', always treating me "on the side of caution"..never "erring". Even when I have procedures other than heart-related, he is active in pre and post periods.. I have friends and acquaintances who have used other Drs. in his Cardiology Group and all are far more than just satisfied.

Dr. Karlsberg is a wonderful doctor! He really knows what he is doing. He anwered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. He is a total professional and I trust him to care for myself refer him to everyone I know who needs a cardiologist. He takes the time and care to explain things. I completely trust his judgement and know that I am in good hands with him. He is kind, caring and truly puts his heart into everything he does. His staff is also wonderful. First class all the way!
