I had a total knee replacement back in 2011 by Dr. Beal, my knee don't bend properly, it's been swollen since I had the surgery, my leg is huge, I went back months later to see if could bend it more and that didn't work, I went to other doctors and they said my replacement parts are too big for my leg, but doctors are not going to bash other doctors, so whomever read this review, I do not recommend Dr. Matthew D.Beal for your knee replacement. Yours truly unsatisfied patient.

Dr.Beal did a total knee replacement on me in July 2013. I was hospitalized for 5 days. I have suffered pain daily since the surgery. My knee did not responsible favorably to physical therapy. My knee will not bend. My mobility is significantly impaired. I cant not fully extend the knee. After care treatment has consisted soley of pain medications. The tendens and ligaments attached to the knee do not function normal .

Dr. Beal is AWESOME. My husband had a total knee replacement in Aug. 2012 at Ohio State University Medical Center and he was out of the hospital two days later. He had NO COMPLICATIONS and he is doing great. Dr. Beal's demeaner is one that is caring, fun, yet ultimatly professional. We totally recommend Dr. Beal!!!
