Dr. Smart has always been extremely helpful and correctly diagnose many of my family medical problems. She has on numerous occasions come back to the office to tend to a medical crisis for myself and mother. Although the office is not fancy she does take the time to listen to what you have to say and does not rush though the appointment. She has called after hours to check to see how mother is doing on chemo has been a godsend to the care of the family medical needs. Yes she has strong religious. Beliefs but you can request that she not have a moment of prayer. This dr diagnosed several serious medical problems that the hospital missed or missed diagnosed. I was never turned away from seeing the dr when i had no insurance or job she worked with me on payment stating my health was more important and not to skip appointments because i didn't have any money. She helped me get medicine that was needed. Yes you do have to wait to be seen but when it is your turn she does not watch the clock and push you out when your time is up. More than once i have had to wait because of a patient has come in with an emerency.

Dr. smart helped me get a durable medical device to test my blood and left me hanging after I didn't comply with her obsession on her personal religious believes and her over compensations to test me over and over unneedlessly to receive Medicare compensations to pay for her her one horse malpractice.

This doctor is highly unprofessional and rude. The office is dirty and staff is unprofessional also.

Dr. Valerie Smart is one of the best Drs that I've ever known. She may be running late with appt. but she takes her time and listens to you. Other Drs only give you the 10 or 15 min of there time. I've called and have been received that same day. Her staff is kind, ready to help you at anytime. We have been going to Dr. Smart for 10 years now. I would not give up Dr. Smart for anything. Her office may not be fancy, but who wants to pay for fancy? You would be blessed to have such a Dr. and Dr. Smart.

I have heard countless complaints about this provider and based on the unbelievably bad treatment people have received from her I would not recommend her.
