I second EVERY other review on here!! I have scoured the internet for every review I could find on this man and have ONLY found negativity and one star reviews. How is he still allowed to practice medicine??!! Especially in a field such as psychiatry and especially at a prestigious hospital like spectrum??!!

Rude, condescending, poor communicator. Very difficult to converse with. He was not empathetic, considerate or helpful in any professional manner one would expect from a doctor in his specialty field. I would not recommend this health professional to friends, family or work associates. I am shocked he is affiliated with Spectrum which holds very high standards for employees.

Dr. Marin was the most rude and pompous man I have ever met in my life. For someone that is in the field of empathy and helping others, he shows no compassion or understanding. Do not go to him for help or sympathy. He left me in hysteric tears with no signs of compassion.

My significant other underwent heart bypass surgery at the Meijer heart center on March 3, 2014. While there she was seen by Dr. Marin who proceeded to decrease her anti-anxiety medication, and post surgery, on March 7th he informed her by the time she left the hospital he would have her off her anxiety medication. She has a 15-20 year history of anxiety and panic disorder. She is now at a rehab facility. She has had a hard time of staying focused and being able to function since Dr. Marin chose to do what he did. The Meijer Heart Center and its staff saved my better halves life. If you have a loved one that is going to have surgery there, and the are on anti-depressants or anti anxiety medication, request another psychiatrist besides Dr. Marin.
