Terrible experience. Constantly commented on how she wanted to do no harm but definitely did harm. Claimed I had a number of issues that I didn't have. Ordered expensive tests and then ignored findings that were inconsistent with her beliefs. Made unprofessional comments about weight, but still proceeded to treat for unknown infertility when the known factor was obviously weight and the correlation between ovarian function and BMI (something I learned later on my own, which is known quite widely among people who do what she does for a living). Other doctors who work with her are equally shabby and ill equipped to help you get pregnant. Check the stats on the clinic. They are low for any population over 30, which is the population in most need of fertility treatment. And, the nurses are terrible. Rude, condensending. You are bothering them to ask how to use injections, but you can't ask the doc because she's never around. Received conflicting information about interxourse post IUI and side effects of the drugs she's prescribed. I think she tried to be better than she usually was according to the psychologist and front office staff, but it was insufficient. Case was gawked at by residents, when specifically asked not to be treated by a resident. Avoid.

I've just begun working with Dr. Marsh. She is very knowledgeable but the biggest problem is the infrequency of contact and information. You should not have to wait weeks to receive updates on lap tests, especially if the findings are abnormal or require additional testing for diagnosis. This causes anxiety and stress, all of which, from what I've read, is bad for conception even when everything is working as it should.

She is a good saleswomen for sure. She let her nurse and intern diagnose your condition and tell you what can or can not be done about before she even talk to you for the very first time. The worst. She also does not bother to wait for your fertility tests to come back in the rush of selling you fertility services. I HAD NOT EVEN STARTED TRYING TO GET PREGNANT. I had no medical problems or known fertility issues. Dr Marsh started trying to sell us all these fertiliy services and along with it even psychological services. Obviously, some basic manners that she does not know and maybe Northwestern should teach her...wait for test to come back for a new patient before drawing conclusions otherwise tell them not to bother to do the tests, also do not let your nurse and your intern diagnose patients before you talk to them in trying to make more money. I saw several doctors after I did my fertility tests and none of them felt the way she did.I never went back to Northwestern.
