Biography

Dr. Megan Walsh joined Northeastern Eye Institute in November 2015 following seven years of practice in other centers throughout our region. Specializing in primary eye care and contact lenses, Dr. Walsh is also certified to provide both pre and postoperative care for LASIK patients in our Hamlin, Mountaintop, and Scranton offices. Dr. Walsh received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Elkins Park, PA. She has also received a Bachelor of Science degree from The Pennsylvania State University. Following graduation, Dr. Walsh completed clinical externships at Biernacki Eye Associates in Wilkes-Barre, Concord Family Vision Center in Concord, NH, Wilkes-Barre VA Hospital, The Eye Institute, Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and the Northeastern Eye Institute office in Scranton. Dr. Walsh is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Northeast Pennsylvania Optometric Society.
