He knows what he is doing. I think he's in it for the money. That's not an entirely bad thing. Your Plummer is in it for money, you do hope he knows what he's doing as well. He's young. He is gonna make mistakes. You don't get to be great at anything without years and years of practice. He did me more harm than good but he's not a cruel man. He just didn't have all the facts and the truth is, try as I might,
I was too embarrassed and scared to share them. So I share the biggest part of the responsibility here. It was a self fulfilling prophecy. I wanted help but having been down a road where it was doctors that did this to me in the first place, I don't have a good rapport with trust. So when I was really in trouble, I panicked. My life was in danger, and I had to chose between the safety of my family and trusting him. I felt if did he would not believe me so either way I was not coming out of this well. You are probably best off telling your pain doctor what hurts and nothing more. Any Dr for that matter. They just are not equipped to hear about your personal problems and quite frankly they don't generally care. I did escape my demons but now I spend and will always spend the rest of my life iMobile in one small room. The pain is horrible but my family is safe. Stay off pain medication If you can. Even if it hurts. Someone will always find out and these drugs are so dangerous. I was just not able to handle very many of them tolerably. They made me sick. That was a problem for me with Doc Wallace because he likes to change things frequently. It might not be for you. Best advice, don't let surgeons carve you up like a roast because then you are in the hands of the medical community for life and the paranoia of opiate use amongst drs is at an all time high. I was on opiates for 19 years. I lost everything. They helped the pain but stole my life. I'm free from them now and and have no life at all. I thought I did everything right. One of my pain drs died. One retired. One was a quack pill Dr so I left him for for Dr. Wallace, I question that I hindsight. I tried to do everything right. I spent years with the Dare program to teach kids why opiates are so bad. But I took them to escape the pain. None of that mattered in the end. I couldn't think straight, I was in fear of my family's safety and I made a wrong turn in trying to be honest. Just keep your mouth shut and say what hurts, nothing more. No good will ever come from trying to do the right thing with a pain doctor. Just be honest about what hurts.

I have been going to dr Wallace for over 2 years. He is kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable in chronic pain. He has helped me stay within tolerable limits with my medication and helped me wean off of some unnessesary medication prescribed to me by a previous dr

He absolutely did not care about me and after spending less than 5 minutes total (new patient visit) left the room - I thought he was coming back; however, he was already with another patient.

He explained the cause of my pain and gave several options to deal with it.... I recommend HIM and his STAFF very highly...
