Biography

Dr. Joseph Haynes is a board-certified OB/GYN with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is originally from Kansas City, Missouri. His mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer while he was in college, which focused his interest in women's health. He graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia with a degree in biochemistry. He then graduated from medical school at the University of Kansas - Kansas City. Dr. Haynes completed his residency training in 2010 at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, receiving Outstanding Resident and teaching surgical skills awards. He continued to practice in the Lexington area for the University of Kentucky until 2019, when he came back to Missouri to practice at the Ferrell-Duncan Clinic. Dr. Haynes is dedicated to providing pregnancy care and routine gynecology, as well as caring for problems in gynecology.
