Visited two weeks ago! He did not read any notes
After probing him, found out that he has not read anything including the previous visit notes with MRI. I had to probe and make him read so he understood and reminded him to read the notes. He ordered an MRI and wrote the notes wrong again and insurance denied again, that was the same problem two years ago with him. Careless and all he wanted to push was some anxeity medicine which has nothing to do with my situation. I would not reccomend him

Does not listen to patient needs/issues and prescribes what he wants.... would not take responsibility for his missteps and blamed me for lack of communication instead of admitting he did not listen. Poor communication with front office relaying patient notes.

Waste of time- not a good doctor. Did not take time to listen to the problems and discredited all of the problems I came in for- no compassion. and charges way too much. find a better doctor.

After a serious car accident, spine surgery, complications caused by the spine surgery & 2 hospitalizations, I was diagnosed with CRPS/RSD (a chronic neurological pain condition discovered during the 1800s/the Civil War). After a few visits (that were a waste of time & upsetting) with another local neurologist who did not understand CRPS/RSD, I visited Dr. James Ko. Dr. Ko was very dismissive, did not listen well & insinuated that it was in my head even though I had multiple nocturnal convulsions during sleep that were filmed during a 40+ hour Video EEG. When I asked him questions, Dr. Ko demonstrated a lack of understanding & an dismissive/condescending attitude, so I terminated the visit. After these bad experiences with 2 local neurologists, I am finally getting good care after I waited 2.5 yrs on a waiting list & traveled to Philly to see a Neurologist who is a CRPS/RSD expert (Dr. Aradillas) in PA who confirmed the CRPS/RSD diagnosis & also diagnosed me with Small Fiber Neuropathy. Unfortunately some doctors are limited in their expertise & instead of being honest about it or adding to their skillset/understanding, they waste the patient's time, invalidate the patient, and cause even more pain to patients who are already suffering. Advocate for Yourself & Don't Give Up!!!

The staff was actually quite pleasant when I had visited. The doctor likes to take his time with patients which was definitely a plus.
