Wonderful experience at Chico Pediatrics. Would highly recommend!

From call to appointment it is minutes. Our daycare says Chico Pediatric's response time is exceptional. We agree. The professionalism and care is great. But it is always good to receive positive feedback from others who interact with pediatricians on a routine basis. It is even better when they are all overwhelmingly positive. Chico Pediatrics has that same cache in this community.

Dr. Vogel and Dr. Asarian have been our pediatrians for our first born since he was born and we have been very pleased with our decision. Why? Well for starters, the response time for health issues is immediate. We kept hearing from our friends with other children that it was "unusual" for us to get an appointment within a day much less within single digit hours as we routinely receive from Chico Pediatrics. This may be a major function of the office staff (who are just plain great). But when our daycare tells us to tell our doctor's office that they are impressed with their response time, we knew something was up.

My wife is a social worker with children. We first heard about Chico Pediatrics through them. People that work with kids and know about their needs and special needs all told us that Chico Pediatrics, Dr. Asarian and Dr. Vogel were the best. Being skeptical we had our visit before our son was born. Immediately we could see how warm and loving Dr. Vogel was towards our coming family. When our son was born Dr. Asarian was always supportive with our questions, concerns, and always providing information rather than pitching. Controversial questions such as circumcision, vaccination, treatment of illnesses, and many others were handled matter of factly and absent pitches that in the end made our decisions far more comforting and easy to make. This is not to say that he doesn't have a personal opinion. We just got the facts and really feel like Chico Pediatrics is our family's advocate. I've always been told that with medical issues you are your only advocate. That isn't the case with Chico Pediatrics and Dr. Asarian. He's always been supportive of *us*. And being new parents that's all I could dream of in a pediatrician. Jill, Chico Pediatrics nurse is excellent as well.

We also like our daycare for the same reasons (4 our of 5 doctor's recommend.... 4 out of 5 CPS workers also recommend....). But that's another story. We are very happy with Chico Pediatrics.

Everyone there is darn good and darn nice. Great choice for your kids.

Chico Pediatric Medical Group is fantastic. "Dr. John" [Asarian] makes a point of educating everyone present to possible treatment interventions and outcomes. He is incredibly kind to children and speaks to them directly and on their level. He is clearly on top of current literature and advises of new medical developments that may impact treatment. "Dr. Jill" [Berry] is always patient, taking the time to clearly explain everything she is doing as well as all charts, results, and the thinking behind her diagnostic interpretation. Both parent and patient are considered. The nursing and clerical staff are friendly, have gotten us seen within the hour on more than one occasion, and are genuine in their affections and concerns. Though it is a smaller practice, there is always a doctor on call. The level of care, authentic concern, professionalism and friendliness of Chico Pediatric is unmatched by any physician of my adulthood. If I was under 18, I would be a patient.
