    Biography

    Dr. Chhatriwalla is an interventional cardiologist and Clinical Scholar at Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute, and a Professor of Medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He specializes in Coronary and Structural Interventions, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and transcatheter mitral valve repair and replacement (MTEER, TMVR) and Adult Congenital Heart Disease Intervention. He is the Medical Director of Structural Intervention and the Director of Interventional Research at Saint Luke's Hospital.He helped to launch the transcatheter pulmonary valve program in 2014 and has remained active in the Adult Congenital Heart Disease program since that time. Dr. Chhatriwalla received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA and Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH under Dr. Samir Kapadia (Interventional Cardiology) and Dr. Richard Krasuski (Adult Congenital Heart Disease).
