    I have been seeing Dr. Nance since 2018 and am very happy to be under her care. She always goes over my lab results with me, explaining what the numbers mean in regards to any fluctuations, and lets me know what she is watching and why. She keeps me on track for periodic testing and reviews those results with me. She is a good listener and I feel that she has my welfare in mind, and is concerned about my overall health.

    Refuses to listen to patient. Not prepared for visit prior to seeing patient. Reads diagnostic testing during patient visit. Cold demeanor.

    Extremely bad bedside manner.. Very rude, uncaring and uninformative. As well as taking multiple phone calls during visit in the room with the patient

    Biography

    Dr. Nance is an Oncologist and Hematologist for Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute in Alachua County. She earned her medical degree from the Mercer University School of Medicine (Macon, GA) and attended Emory University School of Medicine (Atlanta, GA) for her Internal Medicine Residency. She complete her Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of North Carolina. In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Nance received two research grants for Hematology and Oncology from the University of North Carolina. As a cancer researcher, Dr. Amy Nance is actively engaged in clinical research and has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. She has special interests in cancers of the breast, lung and colon.
