Don't walk - RUN away from this totally inept staff and facility. I was referred by the Veteran's hospital. I had to wait over a month just to get an appointment. When I arrived I was informed that my appointment was a week earlier and I had missed it. I presented them the appointment card they sent and they were forced to see me. However then the Dr. said that my consult was for Thoracic but my pain was Lower back. The doctor told me that I he needs more paperwork authorizing lower back. I asked if his office would handle that he said no. I called community care at the VA hospital and they faxed the forms to the office. But when I called First Health back then the story changed to I need different paperwork. So I called community care back and they said everything that First Health needs is in the paperwork that was faxed and that First Health has problems reading directions. I have been in pain of over two months and this doctor seems to not care for helping veterans.

I had an appointment with Dr Walker at 3:30 pm. I finally saw him at 5:30! He didn't apologize for being late. He just said "good news you're my last patient ". What a jerk, pompous attitude and all! Tells me he is sending me to pain management in Tupelo because he knows a "friend " that runs the facility! That place was also a joke! Charges money for shots! Let's put a bandaid on a gushing wound! Wound not recommend Dr Walker to anyone that's my friend or enemy!
