I have been Dr. Nemawarkar's patient for many years. She is caring, listens well, explains clearly, takes a conservative approach in agreement with me and is an excellent diagnostician. I have referred several friends to her who have been pleased as well. Her care has been wonderful!

I was admitted to St. David's where she happened to be the admitting hospitalist. She was hoping that I might have a certain type of tumor about which she was writing a research paper, and told me to come see her when I got out. Still feeling crummy, and not having my digestive issue resolved, I figured perhaps she could help me...I mean, she is an internal medicine doctor, right? When I arrived, she informed me that I didn't have the tumor she was interested in, so why did I come in? She performed a perfunctory battery of tests and had the nurse call me to tell me they were normal. She told me if the test were normal, I didn't need to come back in. She also told me I might was to go see a psychiatrist, because maybe it was a mental disorder. Within the same year, I discovered I had an autoimmune disorder, pituitary and thyroid disfunction, celiace disease, and some severe nutritional deficiencies. But no, it was all in my head because I take Zoloft. Thanks a lot, Dr. N!

Dr. N has been treating myself and my Mom since 2005 at ADC. I have been thoroughly pleased with all services provided. I utilize Dr. N's extensive knowledge to keep track of all illnesses and medications to make sure there is no interference as I have a lot of medication allergies. Dr. N reviews all other doctor inputs (mainly cardiologist and orthopedic) and asks numerous questions about my health concerns. Dr. N has worked hard with me to insure the best care. She has found and followed-up on several hints of problems and resolved them all. I do not understand comments of uncaring. This doctor does care and though somewhat reserved, she is an excellent doctor. Pat, her assistant, is most helpful and resolves any questions you might have quickly. I give this doctor and her assistant top ratings and can highly recommend her. 7/29/2013. That is eight years of great professional help for both myself and my Mom.

I became a new patient of Dr. Nemawarker as of this month. I just love her! I trust her! She took way more than enough time with me and took very good care of all my health needs. My fiancé goes to her now as well. She is very caring and knowledgable. I'm so glad I have a good doctor I can see. I am a nervous wreck when it comes to doctors and such but she and her staff put all my fears at ease. I can call anytime and her nurse Pat calls me right back and she is very caring as well. The front office staff are always smiling and joking they make you feel like family!

I was not at all happy with her. I didn't find her mannerisms professional, she didn't ask me relevant questions, understand my issue, or discuss the various treatment options available. She offered me one that I was not too happy with having seen my friends take that medication, but refused to discuss other options, and how could she when she had little understanding of my symptoms? After spending less than 5 minutes with me she referred me elsewhere.

Dr. Nemawarkar listens to whatever is troubling me and derives a plan based on her knowledge & experience, as well as my preference for non-drug remedies whenever possible. I appreciate that she is soft-spoken and pragmatic. Staff is equally professional and efficient, something I haven't always experienced in other large group practices. Five stars all around.

Have been seen month after month complaining of fever and abdomen pain, vomiting and fatigue.. labs ordered supposedly came back normal, she told me she had no clue what could be wrong, was treated for a sinus infection. Ended up in ER.. 4 months later and was diagnosed with severe UTI. I suffered months of being sick, while she acted like I was making it all up.

I think all these reviews are actually accurate oddly enough. I've been seeing her for several years and I don't have any major medical issues. She's always been nice to me, but other doctors have caught problems with things she's prescribed because of interactions she should have been familiar with (not uncommon situations). She's been a good doctor for minor medical issues (colds, minor issues) but she has given me bad advice on a couple of occasions. I told her about a food I was eating and she confused it with a less healthy food and was warning me about it. When I told her it was a different food, she acted like I hadn't even spoken. When she's in her comfort zone, I think she's a good doctor, but if I ever have a serious medical issue, I won't be going to her.

Arrogant. Uncaring. Uncompassionate. This Dr apparently resents patients doing any research about their condition(s), and does NOT want to hear about new treatment successes, etc., and if you mention webmd.com she practically rolls her eyes. She is forgetful about what you have been seen for, never bothers to read your intake, and basically is just barely going through the motions. The staff is caring and prompt, but she is not interested in her patients at all. I left feeling so abandoned and depressed, without what I needed (a note). I have a chronic illness that has no cure, we just have to manage symptoms, etc. Well, since she can't "fix" me, she is trying to pass me off to the pain clinic. HUGE cop-out. Not everyone with chronic illness is a drug-seeker. I suffer with much more than pain and I need a doctor to oversee my care. It's insulting to be brushed off. After 5 years, when I needed her the most, she let me down and proved she could care less. Time to find a new doctor. :-(
