Amazing doctor, very compassionate. She always thinks about her patients and puts them first. Very rare these days in medicine.

I have been coming here for years and it's always the same story. Long waiting time aprrox 1 hour every time. The ladies answering the phones are not very friendly and could use a course on bedside manners. I got a call after lab work to call the office and when i did the supervisor told me i have anemia and should come back in 6 weeks. Dr gorski was on vacation so nobody could tell me what i was suppose to do with my anemia for the next 6 weeks. When i called back few days later to talk to the dr i was told she will be given the message but can bot promise when she can call me back as she just got back from vacation and is very busy. Very frustrating. I think it's time to look for another doctor.

I just left the exam room after waiting 35 minutes in the waiting room because I saw her go in with another patient before me which meant I would be waiting another half hour just to be seen. I understand this happening every now and then, but when it happens ALL THE TIME it can be very frustrating. My time is valuable and when I make an appointment I don't expect to wait over an hour before I am even seen!
The staff happens to be one of the friendliest staff I have come across & I really like Dr.Gorski (although I was just as happy, maybe even happier to see the PA Cindy, however she left), she is very thorough. But after all this time you would think that they would be able to schedule accordingly & not make people wait over an hour to be seen, every single time! So, for me, I am done and currently looking for a new internist.

I've been coming to Dr. Gorski for a little over a year now. Pros: if you want testing or referrals, they are quick to prescribe/help. They work with you to see what you can do under your insurance plan. Lydia will spend time with you so you can ask as many questions as you like. Cons: the office is horribly busy. You will wait an average of an hour, even with an early morning apt. Things sometimes slip through the cracks, so be sure of the scripts you are getting before you leave are correct. You will also find yourself referred to more other doctors & going for more tests than you every had before.

Probobly one of the best and hardest working doctors I have seen but the office is always very busy and I have had to wait long times for an appointment or the waiting times are backed up. Advantage is they will take the time you need without rushing you out of the office. and will fit you in if it is urgent.

I found dr gorski to be very unhelpful, doesnt pay attention to anything you want to ask or are concerned with. She also insisted I had a heart condition as I told her a cardiologist said I didn't. I would never go back.

I am a patient of Dr Lydia Gorski's for over 10 years.I find her to be a good listener and very knowledgable. She is open to information the patient brings in.She has undertaken a major renovation of her office including computerized records.I think she is very progressive and also open to alternatives. Her office does run behind schedule but Dr Lydia spends a good amount of time with you when she sees you.It is helpful to have a list of your concerns and check them office with the Doctor and also with the staff before you leave the office.

I went to Dr. Gorski to be treated for my hypothyroidism also. Despite the fact that I was symptomatic while taking Levothroid, Dr. Gorski seemed uninterested in how I was feeling because she relied solely on my TSH levels, which were in the "normal range." Additionally, I gave her a record that I had kept of my basal temperatures (low being indicative of hypothryoid) and she never even looked at it. Furthermore, I had been prescribed Prozac for depression and anxiety by a psychiatrist and am in weekly psychotherapy with a clinical psychologist. Dr. Gorski told me she wanted me off the medication without giving me a reason and convinced me to go off of it, despite the fact that my father was struggling with terminal cancer at the time. At one of my last visits to Dr. Gorski's office, a nurse who I had never met before and who did not even examine me, looked at my chart, commented that my weight was too high and tried to sell me some vitamins that they were pushing in the office.

Very good with traditional medicine; but not open to alternative therapies when traditional approaches don't work. For example, I was being treated by Dr. Gorski for hypothyroidism with Synthroid; but when my symptoms did not improve and my elevated cholesterol (a symptom of hypothyroid) would not come down even after several increases in dosage, I inquired about natural thyroid medications such as NatureThroid; but I was told by Dr. Gorski's P.A., Jennifer, that she would rather prescribe Lipitor for the elevated cholesterol and continue to increase the dosage of Synthroid. I went to an osteopath instead, started taking NatureThroid, and within six weeks my cholesterol came down from 269 to 159 without any cholesterol medication, and my hypothyroid symptoms are greatly improved. So just make sure that you do your own research and become knowledgeable about your condition before blindly adding one medication after another.
