Dr. Khidekel is a Russian speaking pediatrician. She's been a doctor for our two daughters for 4 years and we have been happy with her. Pros: knowledgeable and experienced; always open-minded with regard to the new info (latest trends in medical care, alternative sources of info, etc); in serious situation makes careful decision as to treatment; always calls back in case of emergency and gives a real advice (on weekend, at late hour); has a highly professional staff nurse, which does injections and all that so well as no other nurse we have ever had in our lives. Cons: always very busy, has a lot of patients and never sees you in time; not always spends enough time to thoroughly examine an infant, however, it's easy to miss something at this age; frequently on vacation, however, has a very nice Russian speaking substitute doctor with similar "performance"; may not be careful with regard to small issues, so you have to draw her attention yourself.

Very unprofessional service by both doctor and her assistant. Not listening to any concerns and doesn't answer questions. I have to pay the co-pay even when I came to pick up the prescription for my child. Doctor didn't pay attention to my child previous medical history and prescribed the drug that was prohibited to my child . Thanks to the Walgreen's pharmacy and their computer system - they immediately informed me about the situation. Doctor is the only Russian speaking pediatric in San Francisco, so she can afford losing patients because Russian community is very big in there. I also saw her advertisements that now she is providing BOTOX injections in her office. I don't think that this is appropriate for the pediatrician.
