I had back surgery. I have been in constant pain since. I go back to try to get relief, he takes x-ray and tells me everything looks ok. I returned in a year, he took x-rats and informed again that everything looked fine. Wish he could share my pain. Do NOT set foot in his office. He is the definition of a "quack"!

I had back surgery several years ago and have been in constant pain since. Ever visit after surgery he looked at x-rays and said everything was fine. It is too bad he can't feel the pain I am in but x-rays don't register that fact. My PCP has seen the pain I am in and prescribed pain mefication. This PCP doctor is no longer practicing. The only relief Zi get is to turn to Vodka. I would not wish my pain on my worst enemy. Think twice about letting this spinal surgeon touch you!

I just recently found this website to where you can add a rating on doctors. I wanted to leave a review on Dr. Elders. I have been to see Dr Elders in the past. He is the kind of doctor that goes way out of his way to help his patients. If not with surgery, he will help them get physical therapy, medical equipment and the things they need and he will even search until he finds a doctor that can help you if he can't help you with the problem your seeing him about. I have even asked my family doctor to help me with things and it took forever to get paper work done on what i was wanting done but with Dr. Elders he does it when asked that very day,and his nurse and all the staff are right on top of things when I call and ask about something also. I wish we had more doctors that were concerned about their patients and he is. We are all blessed to have him as a doctor if you ask me.

Injured knee due to fall - had xrays, negative. Dr. Elders, after spending 30 minutes outside the exam room chatting with nurses, came in to tell me that my pain was from age (age 34). Completely dismissed the fact that I had fallen directly on the knee cap.

Re-injured back and needed anti-inflammatory. I knew they closed early 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Called assistant early 8:30 and left message and said i needed immediate assistance. Called again 9:30 and left message. Called 10:00 a.m. and called the front desk. I told them of my trouble of trying to get a hold of the assistant. Front desk said she would have the assistant call me. 10 minutes later she called and sounded very displeased with me. I apologized but i needed help. She assured me that she would call me back on that Friday with help. She return my call on the following Tuesday. But by that time I had a gotten a new doctor and the pills to reduce the swelling. If the assistant is responding to the patients in the manner that pleases the doctor then this doctor is not worth the trouble or aggravation. Seek help elsewhere.

I went Dr Elders after falling during an indoor soceer game on my shoulder. I was having a lot of pain over a week later. I had 1st gone to local clinic and got xrays and was told nothing broken. Went to Dr. Elders, he did a very quick exam (not much of one at all) and just perscibed more pain pills and to come back in to weeks and if no more pain to cancell the apt. He NEVER looked at the x-rays I brought and never told me to any exercises or plan or care or to use my arm/ not use my arm! I was still having a lot of pain the following week and went to a different orthopedic/ sports doctor. I got new x-rays at the new drs office (the ones I brought were told they were terrible quality) and was told it looked like a fracture of the greater greater tuberosity( top part of the humerus) and scheduled me for an MRI 2 days later. It was comfirmed on the MRI, It was lit up like a xmas tree, that it was a fracture! In the end it took the 3rd dr to diagonosis me, 4 weeks after the fall!
