Answers e-mail in 1-12 hours (my experience). I have PP Multiple Sclerosis and only symptoms are treatable but he is always knowledgeable and helps. Great doctor to have available in this situation..

Dr Ratchford in my opinion is the best doctor I have been to in a very long time. He takes his time with his patients and asks many questions concerning their symptoms. He is never condescending and takes a real interest in your well being. Above all he is a kind and caring doctor that takes the time to get to know you. I is refreshing in this day and age to find a doctor who really seems to love what he does and cares about the patient. I will not go anywhere else even though it is a long way to travel to get to John's Hopkins. He is the best as far as I am concerned

Dr Ratchford is the best doctor I have seen for my condition. He is very kind, doesn't rush you, does an extensive exam and knows what he is talking about. He always asks for your input on your care. He gives you options, explains them all and lets you decide on the treatment you would like. I would highly suggest him to anyone who is looking for a neurologist. He is as good as they come!!!! I have been seeing him now for the last 3 years and drive just over an hour to see him. I could see someone closer but the care I get from him and his staff make the trip worth it. He works at the best hospital in the world and is (in my opinion) the best neurologist I have worked with, especially when it comes to MS. JG
