We originally began going to Dr. Maniatis because she is a doctor of Osteopathy. We were hoping for a better balance between "modern" medicine and more natural methods. Unfortunately, she was not much help in that department. We continued with her as our primary doctor for while anyway, but were pretty disappointed. Many (not all) of her office staff were bordering on rude and not very helpful or caring. Also, when my mother became a patient of hers, Dr. Maniatis's lack of compassion became more and more obvious. They also LOST a blood and urine sample, among other ways of being inept!! The office also smells so strong of air freshener, I get sick every time I have to take my mother. (This is really bad for those of us with allergies and sensitivities.)

I have been seen is this practice over the last 6 years. The staff is always very friendly and the doctors answer all my questions. The last 2 visits I have been seen by Dr. Maniatis, she is very professional, has great bedside manner and truely cares about the well being of me, the patient. I have a phobia of medical offices, this office has put this to ease and I no longer dread going to the doctor, although I try not to make a habit of it!

very disappointed with the doctor and nurse. The nurse couldn't draw blood, and gave up on the first try. We had to beg the doctor to have the nurse to try again. We needed help, and we felt we were not provided with the professional care we deserve.

This doctor told me she could be my primary care physician and I could see her for all things, all the way down to OBGYN. She's refusing to see me or write me a prescription for trazadone. I take this for sleep and as a nurse I know you cannot stop this medication abruptly. I have been going through withdrawal and have not slept in 2 days. Her office also told me they wouldn't see me because I missed my last appointment (due to a family emergency). I need to see my doctor more than anything right now and she refuses me. You call that healthcare? This place should be shut down. I'm calling and reporting them.
