She was not at all helpful. She did not listen to any of my concerns and what little answers she did provide were sarcastic and short. I was extremely disappointed. Her nurse on the other hand was very friendly.

Dr. Emory was my surgeon for the removal of a desmoid tumor from my upper back. She turned out to be a caring patient advocate as well - starting with not trusting a Pathology report and having it rerun (turns out it was wrong), and worked with other members of the cancer team to determine the best post operative strategy to pursue. She continues to work with me to find and work for the most successful outcome, wherever it may lead. She is a good listener and patiently listens to all my questions and follows up where necessary.
