Dr Mireles is always in a rush, she looks impatient.

Dr. Mireles was the third neurologist my son had seen. She took the time to get to know Daniel and he has done amazing. She focused on my son and has helped him and my family. We recommend her to everyone we know that needs a neurologist.

Dr. Mireles' office was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. She was impatient, rushed through every appointment and did not follow through with requests to call me to answer questions. Her nurse, Mary was VERY rude each time I talked to her on the phone and very unhelpful. Dr. Mireles referred us to a pediatric neurosurgeon, who told us basically, we should not have been sent there. That referral cost my daughter 3 months of unneeded pain (no further treatment from Dr. Mireles while we waited for the appt. with the surgeon). We have changed doctors and are hoping for better results. I sent an email to the office manager telling her what we had been through and that was not even acknowledged. Horrible office staff goes along with the poor care my daughter received.

Staff could not answer questions about prescribed medicine and the MD (Dr. Patricia Mireles) did not care to either and did not call as promised. We had to go to Childrens Medical Center (the Hospital) to have a professional simply answer a valid question about a medication that our child had been prescribed. We ended up changing doctors and are very happy we did, and we did not have to pay a $300 initial consult fee. :-)
