A EXTRA PAINFUL DAY FOR NO REASON.

This place has turned into a JOKE!!!!!!
My appointments prior to yesterday NEVER took this long before. Oh my a 2 and half hour wait in the waiting room to start with. Followed up by being put into a room for someone to ask me my name. I asked for 2 extractions to be done with no Novacane! I have a reaction to it. Well I was ignored. I was also told that one of them is going to be difficult because it's laying down. I stopped her right there and said that one is not the one I'm telling you about. Next thing I know Dr. K walked out let Dr. Patel in to finish up. This man then in turn trys to tell me I shouldn't pull the teeth, I should just get them filled. I said no. Just pull them. He agreed then tells me it will be another 4 or 5 hours to pull 2 teeth.
Left in extra pain due to needing spinal surgery, late for my medications and the 2 teeth I asked to have pulled. NEVER WILL MY FAMILY EVER GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!

I was a patient of Dr Kakaris at Kakaris Family Dentistry before moving to Texas years ago. Last month, I was back in Michigan for my wedding and I had a dental emergency. A few days before the wedding, I noticed a crack in a crown on my front tooth. Dr. Kakaris & Val Rika moved their schedule around to fit me in and check my tooth. However, just in case, Dr. Kakaris gave me her own personal cell # and said she would make absolutely sure she was available to fix it if something did happen. Val said if you need any other special needs " We will come to you and fix it right there on the spot" REALLY WHO CAN DO THAT! They were highly professional, very gentle, and the crown looks amazing! If I lived in Michigan, even if it were an hour drive, this is the only office I would go to. If you're looking for a dentist,especially if you have a difficult or unique situation with your teeth - definitely go here. They are brilliant at what they do. I am terrified of the dentist, and I finally went to see Dr. Kakaris on referral from some friends and family who have been patient of Dr Kakaris for years & years. I haven't been to the dentist in about 5 years or so, and finally dragged myself in because I had such a bad cavity.HONESTLY, Dr Kakaris is the first Dr who hasn't asked me if I wanted my teeth whitened or tried to refill all my existing fillings with the white stuff.She is the first dentist who have helped me with my TMJ and among other jaw problems, she is really someone who can actually help me with my jaw and headache problem. I've been to her office a lot now and while kids have been in the office,She is so nice to them and describes fun stuff about teeth.I wish my childhood dentist had been so cool!Everyone at Kakaris Family Dentistry is totally nice and super excellent. Also by the way i do come from Windsor Canada to see Dr Kakaris, that tells you something!I would definitely RECOMMEND Dr Kakaris and Kakaris Family Dentistry to my friends and family.

Finding a great dentist is not an easy task, but since I was introduced to Dr Kakaris 12 years ago, I have been her patient since. Dr Kakaris has done an amazing work on my teeth and left me with a beautiful smile.I cant explain what an amazing service i usually receive every time I call to make an appointment or the greetings that I get from her staff.Dr Kakaris is a friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating Doctor who usually sacrifices her nights, weekends and holidays to help her patients. There are times where she stayed open late just so I can go after my work to get a specific treatment. I would like to share the great experience I've had with Dr Kakaris who have done root canals, fillings, placed crowns and even whitened my teeth. I drive an HOUR to get to her office, but it is definitely worth the drive. I highly recommend Dr Kakaris to every family and friend who is looking for a great dentist. Her service and knowledge are unbeatable and her prices are amazing.

Dr. Kakaris said she wouldnt be able to complete my root canal because it was about $1200 & there was an issue with my insurance. Despite me explaining to her I couldn't afford it, she went ahead and proceeded with the root canal and filling. I assumed she was still examining my teeth when I asked her what was going on now. She said "Oh, I'm doing the root canal, you wouldn't have even known if I didn't tell ya, huh? LOL!" She said youll have to come back so you can get it finished. Then she started a 2nd root canal unfinished according to my current dentist. I had a severe infection with 2 unfinished root canals. They didnt submit the claim until I called them after about 4xs. On 3way with Cigna & the office, they billed my insurance, me&they didnt submit the accurate services I received. Dr Kakaris called me and explained I needed a 3rd root canal and a crown after she was looking over my xrays. My current dentist verified that wasnt necessary & either was any of the root canals
